Based on their mutual admiration for UK urban music and taking influences from a variety of E.A music genres, MusikMaestro are currently working on an experimental fusion sound for their Empire Sings Back EP which will be released in July 2012.
The audio release of House party is the culmination of MusikMaestro’s experiment with house music and will be followed with an official video release in April 2012. They are also planning a homecoming East African Tour for June 2012 and are working on collaborative projects with established names such as Wyre , P-Unit , Nonini , (KENYA) and The Mith (UGANDA).
Budding stars of tomorrow, MusikMaestro have gained attention from bloggers and radio stations across East Africa. Their experimental release ‘Feels Good’ with Wyre the love child has already gained airplay in 1fm Kenya and Radio city Uganda.
With the backing and credentials of some of the biggest names in the East African music industry MusikMaestro are ready to take on the world as their stage with the new single ‘House Party’. Watch out for the empires ‘MusikMaestro’ sing back.
