Uganda Telecom, a leading total telecommunications provider, that’s owned by Lap-Green Networks (Libyan Gov’t) with 70% shareholding and Uganda Gov’t with 30% shareholding, has undergone rapid turnaround after the majority shareholder took charge of the company following the lifting of the UN sanctions that had been imposed on all Libyan enterprises.

A new management team has been appointed and in addition, the majority shareholder has invested in a new pristine network to be rolled out early 2013. Currently evaluations of the international tender for a new network are underway.

Uganda Telecom hence, is looking Ugandans in the diaspora who are highly motivated, self-driven individuals with ambition, character and the right attitude, qualifications and experience, to join the team in the following areas, where senior positions are available:

  1. Telecom Legal and Regulatory
  2. Corporate Sales
  3. Channels and Distribution
  4. Network Engineering (Planning, Operations & Maintenance, etc)
  5. ISP and Business Support
  6.  Marketing
  7. Mobile Money

Interested candidates should email their CVs and Resumes to the undersigned as soon as possible but in any case not later than 15th November 2012.
Your sincerely,
