Raised in Muswell Hill by Ugandan parents, Kiwanuka’s first EPs were released on Mumford And Sons’ Communion label. He has also played session guitar for hotshot producer Labrinth, but his acoustic soul and jazz is richly defined with tender and intimate songs that draw comparison to Bill Withers and Terry Callier.
