Esther Titi Lartey wins Miss Ghana UK 2012

Esther Afua Anima Titi-Lartey, a 19 year- old student from Bedfordshire University, was crowned Miss Ghana UK 2012, in a splendid competition with 19 other beautiful and talented contestants at London’s Troxy Venue. Over 1500 people attended the beauty show which is now hailed as the most elegant black beauty pageant in UK.

The Miss Ghana UK beauty pageant show 20th edition was billed as a celebration of Ghanaian cultural and life style in the UK.

Esther Titi Lartey will be faced with responsibilities such as an ambassadorial role on behalf of the Ghana community in the UK. She aims to contribute effectively to raise awareness for less privilege women living in poor conditions in Ghana.
The show consists of Cultural dancing, Traditional Wear, Swimwear, Talent show and Evening wear. All contestants showcase themselves to the guest and the judges on the night. The judges award points for posture, cultural awareness, intelligence, confidence, communication skills and of course beauty.

The well attended event attracted high profile Ghanaians, including His Excellency, Professor Kwaku Danso-Boafo, Ghana High Commission to the UK and Togo footballer Emmanuel Adebayor of Tottenham Hotspur FC.
