Lisette Mibo, a French/English speaking UK based fashion model.
She is originally from Congo, apart from modelling she is also an ambassador for Save the Congo (a non-profit and non-political organisation based in the UK). She has a degree in Criminology with Sociology and is a mother of a one and a half year-old daughter.

How would you describe yourself?
Determined, Unique, Critical and passionate

How would you describe your style?
I would say my fashion style is a combination of two things because I can do both trendy as well as classic. When I say classic, I mean keeping it simple, little black dress, hair pulled back in a ponytail, tailored-trousers or semi-fitted jackets, classic is timeless fashion.  On the other hand, I am also very trendy keeping up to date with the latest fashion including bags, shoes, clothes, make up etc, Its all about what’s HOT right now.

Which colours and shapes suit you?
Well, it all depending on the seasons, weather and my mood on the day of course –  lol. But to be more specific I like to mix and match my colours and it’s also about the trend at present for instance lately I have been colour blocking especially in summer. I like body fitted clothes, whether body corn party dress, pencil dress/skirt, skinny jeans or fitted mini jackets, when it is fitted it feel great because it also compliments my figure.

Are you a dedicated follower of fashion or do you wear what suits you?
Well, it all depends on the trend if its what I like and looks reasonably comfortable to wear it then yes and if not I would not dare because I know I will feel uncomfortable and that what I always try to avoid when it comes to fashion.

Who is your style icon?
Victoria Beckham I would say.  She’s very trendy but also keeps it simple.

What is your biggest fashion no-no?
Wearing different colours from hair to toes, pink hat, green jacket, red jeans, yellow shoes, purple top, it just hurts my eyes, colour blocking works with maximum two strong colours I reckon.

How much do you spend on clothes each month?
I cannot be specific because it always changes, I can shop a lot on this month and next month I may not shop as much so it all depends and it is not fixed therefore I cannot really give a specific amount.

What is your best beauty secret?
Exercise regularly (three times a week), avoid junk food, never sleep with make-up on, always wash and moisturise face before going to bed and drink plenty of water.

What is the most expensive item in your wardrobe?
Shoes and Bags lol…

Primark or Prada?
Both lol….

What is the best piece of fashion advice you have ever had?
My fashion advise would be that it’s important to find your own look that suits your personality and that you feel comfortable with, there is nothing more important than feeling comfortable, free and yourself, whether you like to keep it tight, fitted exposing that beautiful shape or you preferred baggy/hide it all, it’s absolutely fine as long as you’re doing you.

How did you get into the fashion industry?
I got into the fashion industry because of my career as a model but also because I am also an aspiring fashion designer and my passion for fashion continues to grow each day.
