MoneyGram to sponsor Uganda’s Gospel Concert on Good Friday 29th March 2013

MoneyGram (MGI), a leading global money transfer company, announced today that it will sponsor the Ugandan annual Gospel show which will take place on Bank Holiday Easter Friday on 29th March 2013 at Hariben Bachubhai, Nagrecha Hall (Olympic village), 198/202, Leyton Road, E15 1DT.

The main purpose of the Uganda Gospel annual event can be summarized as bringing together and promoting inter-faith fellowship among Ugandan Christians in the UK as well as providing community cohesion initiatives through activities such as music and drama.

This will be the second concert of its kind and is set to become the largest Ugandan Gospel concert to ever have taken place again in the UK. With some of the biggest Ugandan celebrated Gospel artist already confirmed, the weekend is expected to see between 1,000 and 2,000 Ugandan attend the event.

The two celebrated Uganda artist Judith Babirye and Wilson Bugembe will be performing live on stage supported by other UK Gospel artists.
