The ministry of sports and culture together with Mashirika performing arts and media company has launched the search for Miss Rwanda 2012.
The theme for the second edition of this beauty pageant, which first took place in 2009, is “Beauty with a purpose – unifying Rwandan beauty and culture.”

In this regard, Miss Rwanda will engage involved in a number of activities that include peace-building initiatives, advocacy for gender equality, as well as acting as an ambassador of the youth and the country in general.
