Taking part in a BBC1 documentary on the renovation of a rural health centre in Uganda as part of Red Nose Day|Comic Relief

Comic Relief seeks Ugandan GPs or midwives based in the UK for their Red Nose Day event 2015

They are looking for a charismatic qualified medical professional (GP/doctor/midwife), originally from Uganda but now based in the UK, to come out with the film crew to help with the support of the health centre and be filmed as part of a documentary on the renovation of a rural health centre in Uganda. The health centre will be based in temporary clinics during the renovation, and we would like them to be involved for one or two weeks in early February. They will work closely with the staff there dealing with a variety of physical cases.

Comic Relief hopes that both the Uganda-based and UK-based staff will learn from each other during this short period, as well as learning to work in extremely adverse conditions and learning more about tropical diseases.

If you are the one that Comic Relief seeks, please get in touch.

Thank you!
